  • New elementary school rules cause children to gradually become vaginas...

    My two-cents:

While technology and emerging nations make the world smaller, and America easier to access and attack, we weaken our children and teach them it's acceptable to cry, quit, and make excuses for it all. What we should be doing is having things like kickboxing as optional extracurricular activities, increasing the difficulty of academic endeavors to match those of contemporary European and Asian countries, and teaching children that incompetance is unacceptable, no matter the excuse.

This includes breaking down quota systems and such: in other nations with equal or greater minority populations, minorities perform at, on average, the same level as everyone else. American minorities have been brainwashed into believing that they're stupid, and thus we have masses sitting around waiting for the leg-up they "need". What people should realize is that the majority of any race is stupid, and that effort makes up a great deal of the difference when striving to perform and excel. When given no excuse, people rise to the occasion.

I suppose I'm in semi-rant mode. In summation, this country would be a lot better off, for a lot longer, if we weren't destroying our foundation, letting other nations dictate our foreign policy, and teaching our children that failure is OK, because it's more important not to hurt anyone's feelings or make anyone uncomfortable.

If this trend continues, my only hope is that some foreign kids will come over, and kick our kids' asses up and down the street a few times, both physically and cognitively. Perhaps that will open some eyes, if only those of our children.
    I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

To get a child out from under the stigma of being treated as though incompetent requires:
    1. Someone with enough sense to earnestly tell the kid they should prove those people wrong and/or
    2. Enough freedom and drive to figure out point 1 for themselves

Without those, people will rise only to the point that they feel they're not conflicting with the desires or beliefs of others; after all, the teachers want(or learn to expect) the student to instinctively know what they want from them at all times, so as not to cause trouble for the federally-funded system. Think back to kindergarten grade levels, and express that upwards through the school system. That should give you a good idea of what mode of thinking is instilled into students.
This reality is mine. Go hallucinate your own.
