Breath Of Fire II (Rant)

I am pissed. I just bought the Gameboy Advance version yesterday and attempted to play it for a couple hours yesterday after i got home from eating some tasty nachos.

So i get to the part where everything is in greyscale. Just like the SNES version i talked to some people, Got the two Herbs, Got the fishing pole thing, and them made my way to the dragon. I then figured out i needed to nearly die agianst the Beak to continue (So no Inf HP code on). then i make my way through the talking (Blah Blah No Blah blah Yes) and then make my way to the church.

To make this short, I get BOW and advance to where i am suppose to find a lost pet. Fine! I do every thing in town (talk to more people) and go to the tent. Then not to long after when i am heading to that mountian to find the pet..... Either my game crashes or spontaniously resets.

FUCK!!!

It has done that one too many times. Tally is 6 crashes and 12 restarts.

Also i couldn't figure out how to save so every time it crashed i had to start at ground zero. Since (lets say i tired to talk to a statue) i figured it out but it still resets bofore i can find that goddamn pet.

Also my AR doen't seem to recognize the game either.

1:33 PM PDT Edit: Also i cant acess any of the codes off of BSfree. the AR links are not responding. http://gshi.org/bsfree.php?s=43&d=6&g=2748&c=8029 and the game has reset itself 3 more times since i made this thread at 11:40AM PDT

Sounds like you have a bootleg cart. Did you buy it used or from ebay?

Na. It is the real game and a real cartrage. This isnt the first game to give me issues when trying to hack it.

A Prime example is the Dragon Warrior games for the Game boy (color). I cannot use or have attached the Gameshark or Gamegenie when playing the games. I get the Enix logo but it goes no further. I actually gave up playing those games due to the issues i was having. Yes they are real cartages as well.

Hmm... I wonder if some games now have anti-hacking code built into them. I remember that if you used a Game Genie on Super Punch-Out!!, you wouldn't be able to access the final tournament.

Really!? I never had that problem on my real snes and game.Do yourself a favor MIR and get a Flash cart for gba I have a 256mb I can sell ya mine for cheap if ya want,no more buying or having headaches plus it has a built in cheat system that uses RAW code.
