Yes, I do have a lame introduction line as a title, but it's the best I can do.

So, yeah, my name's actually Savannah, with the nickname Savvy intended as a pun on my love of pirates, and also happens to be the perfect short of my original (and fairly long) name.

I was recommended here by Mike (the Metalhead), to whom I talked to on GSC a fair bit. It was a good thing that I could branch off of GSC because I was beginning to question the relevance of doing so as of late. There are only a couple of slightly intelligent members, and they hardly posted, so mostly bad and boring (and annoying) topics were continually resurrected, like the Pokemon Diamond topic, where people would ask for cheap codes without end. But, here I am.

I'm a bit of a bookworm, and not like your avid reader, but more of the kind of kid that drowns herself in homework everyday to manage her grades. Yeah, it's what me and my fellow Juniors call...The Suck. Well, we're nearly Seniors...so we'll get somewhat of a break next year, and it's the home stretch to get to college. That's good and bad in numerous ways. But, anyway, I'm a bit too committed to my school work, which I try to not do...but I do anyway. Eh, it's nearly over, so I'm running for the rest of it.

As for music, I'm all for the classic Rock N' Roll, like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Mike judges my taste to be all for the "commercial" type artists, who make a popularity appeal, but if I like it, I like it, and that's all that matters in terms of my taste in music.

And, on top of it all, I love video games. My two older brothers always got the game systems, but I was always the tag-along kid when they beat the crap out of each other in Street Fighter for the SNES. Naturally, I got into it myself, and I developed a preference for RPGs. Now, I'm not like your average RPG lover who becomes obsessed with the awkward characters, but I'm rather all for playing the game. Some of them are worth giving the story a piece of your mind, but others are just not worth your time. I mean, listening to every single line of Tales of Symphonia probably killed me a little inside, whereas paying attention in Final Fantasy X paid off for me in the long run (which is...a really long run). I do play other games, though, namely Mario, and (to the suprise of many) Resident Evil 4, but only the fourth one. The rest...I'm just abhorrent of those.

    So, yeah...that's me.

Savannah is a really beautiful name.

Well, obviously all that matters is that you enjoy what you listen to. Even if it's... rap. At least, even though some of the bands you like are commercial, they're good musicians. (Well, the stones are.)

By the way, I like the song "Paint it Black", Deep Purple made a cover on an album... Though I don't remember if it was live or not.

Anyway, welcome here, and check my PM on GSC, it seems there was some misunderstanding in the previous one.

Welcome aboard, Savvy. Heh, the pirate thing makes that ironic, but I actually say it to everyone new.

RPG is my favorite genre as well (hence, it's most of what I hack), though I prefer the classics most of the time. Personally, I thought Resident Evil 2 was the best RE, but I haven't played beyond the first five minutes of RE4, heh.

And...good taste in music, judging by the two bands you mentioned.
        I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

          My, I'm flattered. Thank you.

I think the fourth one handled really well, in terms of the fact that you actually knew where you were aiming and what you were shooting. In the others, the camera tended to stay still in one spot and never moved. That really frustrated me.

But it felt scarier, sort of.

Although I really ain't the type to jump while I'm playing a game.

I only like getting jumps at the movies. Those are fun because usually I'm not one to jump, so when I do, everyone else in the theater does as well.

I remember having a friend with me at a teather, and in some place someone really was scared, and that person screamed. (I didn't know that person, fortunately.) My friend was laughing so hard everybody kind of forgot about the movie and everybody was talking about him. And my friend was really rolling on the floor, laughing. And he laughs really loud...

By the way that's not a true story.

A few weeks ago I doubled laughing because my mate's sister (18) cried at the first pokemon movie when she taught pikachu died.

She must've been hoping he really died.

Really, Ash has no life befriending a Pikachu, he'd be better off with a Digimon. (Though they suck too, they're not as bad... They talk.)

I think it's a year ago that it happened.

He should get an afro and an open red shirt with some shorts, smaurai slippers, and a smaurai sword. Then you just call him Mugen and he's perfect.

Tentacruel could be a good bass player.

                            Or a good drummer.
