God damnit! I have spent the past week corrosponding with Microsoft on this email issue i have been having with Hotmail Live. Well it seems that it time out when i am ataching a 8 MB .7zp to an email. The support people think that it is a 7zp.exe and told me to zip it. I sent back a message stateing that it is a ZIP file. They are now telling me that the attachment has a virus.

What the Fucking hell! I check all my files before i send them out for viruses. If it did have a virus i am sure that LMZ would have told me by now seeing as the attachment was for him.

Now on a similar subject I am pissed that if i want to purcase a new computer i have very little choose in the OS i get on the computer. Vista is all that i can find. It is to the point that i will buy a computer with Vista and install that Linux OS that is being talked about on Kodewerx and in a Wired article this month.

Not enought time and i like arguing with Tech Support. ONLY IF THEY SPEAK ENGLISH!

Damn you Dell and your India Tech support. though the Platinum Support through the Phillipines was worse. The lady didn't like my voice and hung up.

Oh an building a laptop from scratch is difficult. It is like saying "MIR Build me a Pocket PC with parts from Fry's and Radio Shack."

I am too Lazy to build a computer.

Once I pointed out that having html enabled in every message could be dangerous, to the hotmail tech support. I told them I had noticed because their format bar appears as html code in firefox. They ended up telling me to switch to IE.

M$ makes money by screwing consumers over in such a way, that they think they're getting a good deal. And yeah... Most dumb people think 7zip archives are viruses, no idea why...

                  Damn It!!!

Patrick, please be advised that the issue you have encountered is due to the following:
                  - Your file may be large and may take too long to upload.
                  - Your Internet browser may not be configured correctly.
                  - Your firewall, pop-up blocker, or antivirus software may be keeping the file from uploading.
                  - You may not have the latest version of your Internet browser installed.
                  A. the file was 3 Damn MB
                  B. Browser is Configured correctly
                  C. Firewall Off at time of upload
                  D. Latest version of FF

                  Assholes at MS support!

Yeah, custom laptops are a hassle.

Heh, let's not forget the hilarious things MS has been doing lately, for example:

When Adobe's owners recently refused to sell their company to MS, the NEXT DAY, MS released a "security update" that caused Adobe products to stop functioning. Since then, it's been one update after another breaking Adobe products, as Adobe releases updates that address each "issue". Hilarious, but lame.
                      I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

Heh. It seems Yahoo is sick and tired of Microsoft. They just updated their music portion of the site and it is now usable on FireFox. Previously you needed the IE pluging to get it to work.
