I have recently been posting in GSC's community, wondering if the people in these respective sites could end their feud. It's not as if one of them raped the other's great-grandma or something. Yeah, I know men & women my age feud & fight also, but since no real harm has actually been done & so far only some people's pride has been hit, I still hold forth hope that the "war" can end before it spreads into "legal" territory & some blood-sucking lawyers get involved.

IMO it has pretty much ended, at least on our part (GSHI, Kodewerx).
If I can be representative of us all we just don't really care about GSC.

The way I see it, it is just run my an attention-loving man. If it is destined to die, we are just going to let it run its course.
It seems that only those who are new and trying to act cool are going "omg gsc sux" anymore.

We have been in the last few weeks leaving GSC alone to (hopefully) die now....

Said like a budding diplomat/politician. I am finding now that is is ignorant Newbes that want to fule the fire. enuR is just giving the biased information. Trust me. been there done that. I just look at the responses made here and compair them to not only GSC but some other sites that i have found him on. Sad really. Even my thread called "Unban DSman" died.

Weather GSC dies or not is not a point. those who wish it to die are adding to the fire. I am hoping this Codewar ends.

The primary tragedy here is that GSC's domain name attracts newbies and people who missed the recent exodus, effectively wasting their respective potentials.

Most of GSC migrated to Kodewerx and GSHI, and a good many frequent both groups. Most of what's left of GSC is Rune himself, and while I don't see much of a reason to be angry with GSC, Rune is intransigent in his self-appointed position of Supreme Dictator. Though this is a slightly outlandish example, if I were alive during World War II, I would not be friends with Germany, unless Hitler and his regime were dethroned, and a new leader were installed. I see no other way in this instance either.

Rune's been given multiple chances to be reasonable, and has either waved them, or accepted, then proved he'd promised more than he could deliver, in terms of honesty, proper credit in codes, and civility. He's alienated most of the scene, pushed away almost all (if not all) the skilled hackers at GSC, and demonstrated that he could not be trusted, or relied upon. He's a child piloting a sinking vessel, and we intend to let it sink.

If it's respect he desires, I'll pay mine when GSC is dead.
