  • GSCentral got owned?

As you may or may not have seen, it seems somebody has ripped GSC's database and put it up for download. Possibly the same person then put up a functional mirror of it.

Here's the strangely Krow spawned topic about it: http://board.gscentral.org/index.php?topic=3287.0

Now, as this is rather an interesting item, I have inspected the PHP script in the package, found it to be perfectly reasonable, and put up a mirror here at GSHI.

And so you don't have to check the site, here's the link: http://gshi.org/bsfree.php

(Also, the original package is now up in the downloads section, if anybody wants it.)

So those files brought to everyones attention by Krow were real and wasn't that '04 backup, huh? Very impressive.

Also, I'm sure a lot of people will have a use for this; actually being able to browse GSC's database should please a lot of people, I believe.

Doesn't matter, they deleted the topic after Krow posted an apparent link to a dump of their private messages. Unfortunately for them, even though LLCoolDave edited the link in Krow's post, it seems he posted it over at CMP too.
