Sextortion scams have been around for some time now, but recently have become more advanced. In a nutshell, these are emails that threaten to expose pornographic view history and private sexual data in exchange for payment.
By exploiting human weaknesses rather than software vulnerabilities, these scams are much easier to execute, as more and more people succumb to them.
