You might want to take another look at the packaging of the fresh produce sitting in your fridge before you cook dinner tonight. Mann Packaging Co., a division of Fresh Del Monte Produce, has recalled more than 140 vegetable products sold at supermarkets across the U.S. and Canada due to concerns of Listeria contamination.
The Mann brand can be found at Bay Area supermarkets including Safeway, Whole Foods and Target. Their vegetable products are also sold under private labels including Trader Joe's, Kroger and Safeway's Signature Farms as well as O Organics.
Recalled products include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, Brussels sprouts, green beans, and veggie mixes and bowls.
