The topless protester who lunged at Bill Cosby and got tackled by cops outside his sexual assault re-trial Monday knew the comedian from a bit part on “The Cosby Show” and wanted to get “in his face,” she told the Daily News.
“I just wanted him to feel my presence and to feel uncomfortable. I didn’t want him to just walk like, ‘La-di-da, it’s a normal day. I have my regular dignity, and I did nothing,’” protester Nicolle Rochelle told The News and a small group of reporters by phone.
“The main goal was to make Cosby uncomfortable, because that is exactly what he has been doing for decades to women,” she said shortly after prosecutors charged her with disorderly conduct for the stunt.
Rochelle, 39, argued it’s “mathematically obvious” Cosby is a serial predator, but she was adamant she never intended to physically harm the 80-year-old former TV star.
