Another place vanishing. Kind of unrelated, but it was a pain trying to get hired at Toys-R-Us. I see their ad online at indeed.com for needing a cashier, I go there, and they say there's no such position available and nobody's heard anything about that. About 3 months later, I see another ad for cashiers wanted there, showing their exact location on google maps. I go there, same story except this time I ask for a manager or anybody involved with hiring, and those involved in hiring say they don't know a thing about that. At that point, I was convinced they're either lying and hate me on sight, or somebody there is an idiot and doesn't know what they are doing.

Toys R Us fans in the U.S. should see the iconic brand reemerge in some form by this holiday season.
Richard Barry, a former Toys R Us executive and now CEO of a new company called Tru Kids Brands, told the Associated Press that he and his team are still working on the details, but they're exploring various options, including freestanding stores and shops within existing stores. He says that e-commerce will play a key role.
