    They could really just list the Nintendo console itself. The D-Pad had very sharp edges to the point where playing would lead to your left thumb getting cut open. No idea why those edges were so sharp on those controllers, but it makes the controller a health hazard.

      Huh...that's funny. I've never gotten my thumb cut upon on the NES D-pad, or the d-pad on any Nintendo or other game company's console. But...that's not to say it didn't happen to you. Ouch.

        I can't recall from about 24 years ago, but I do remember it from about 13 years ago when I bought one from a highschool friend. Both of those controllers had crazy hard and sharp dpad edges. Play it for a little while and your thumb would hurt badly, and keep playing and you'll be losing skin and end up bleeding. Wasn't easy considering there wasn't much for saving games on the NES and the games were harder back then.
