Yep, according to another forum, he's 32. Depending on the month, that could put him within 76 or 77 (so, presumably, 76). Also,

        OK, found him: http://www.whitepages.com/search/Rep...orm_mode=opt_a

...though the WhitePages result would indicate that only his wife and son live there...

[Edit]: Age is 55-59. These must be his parents!

OK, following the name of his father (we assume), I found another household, which just so happens to contain a Matthew J. McDevitt: http://www.whitepages.com/search/Rep...orm_mode=opt_a

This time, we have a phone number

Still, this doesn't help if he doesn't have any useful info on hanimar.

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

            [email protected]

Dead, apparently. Still, it led to other good info.

I never did get ahold of anyone at that phone number...and who knows if he'd remember hanimar, anyway. Anyone else have a clue as to any other piece of the puzzle?

You guys gotta know at least one Japanese hacker, ask them to ask around in the Japanese hacking scene.
Though, not to be a party-pooper or anything, but if the guy hasn't been seen or heard from in over 8 years, I'm afraid this is a lost cause.

I don't know the guy, but typical when someone is a well known hacker and disappears... They tend to disappear for a good reason. Who knows he could have been arrested or maybe even died due to some reason (illness, robber, w/e). You did say he mentioned multiple times that he is worried over the law, that could indicate he knew he was going to end up in jail if he didn't drop all hacking. I am not familiar with Japanese laws, so I can't make any conclusions over that. He could have also changed his online identity (new name), or simply found a new hobby... However when someone disappears and hasn't been heard from in years there is a very high chance you won't get a hold of them... He did do a great job with PS2Dis though! I sure wish I could get in touch with the guy, but I'm not sure that will happen. Good luck with the search if you're still trying to find 'em, I see this search has been going on for a few years now...
