Heh yeah I'm on AOL....

I was with Shaw, but I use so much bandwidth that they wanted to charge me for a business, $500 a month. I decided that that was bullshit, so I switched to a company called Primus. They offered unlimited bandwidth, so I signed up with them. Then all of a sudden they slapped me with a $500 bill one month and told me over the pjhone that they changed their policy, and I had to pay it. I argued with them on the phone several times, but in the end they forced me to pay, before theyd release my line so I could change companies.

It took them a good 6 weeks or so before they let my line go, that was when i kinda stopped posting. After some research, I discovered AOL would give me unlimited download, and so here I am. I HATED it at first, because I despise AOL, but they have no problems with me downloading 100GB or so a month. So that's my AOL story... heh.

Man, that sucks. I haven't heard of people getting charged for transferring too much data like that in years. Heh, at least it's not dialup...(?) If nothing else, the main problem with AOL is that they've got a horrible reputation, which is somewhat accurate.

Heh, yeah, that is rather an interesting story of how Modman came here. But I'll leave that for him to tell, if he wishes. I'd probably get it wrong in places, and throw in some stuff about strippers and a really long party with nachos and beer.
