I didn't do this. I suggested it, but an administrator made the final decision. There's nothing wrong with combining threads that are merely replicas of eachother.

Plenty of people here have a sense of humor. The fact that one doesn't find your level of verbal slapstick comical is not indicative of a lack of sense of humor, but of a higher caliber of acuity in general.

That said, I did appreciate a few of your comments (your reference to irony, for example), but by then I was too lazy to comment one way or another, as you, TH, Sage, and CF were "hashing it out" still.
