  • Classic Mini SNES release date confirmed for September 29th

    Nintendo has confirmed that a SNES version of its Nintendo Classic Mini console will be arriving this autumn on September 29th.

    Officially titled the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the miniature 16-bit system will come with 21 pre-installed games in total, including the never-before-released Star Fox 2.

    There's no word yet on how much the console will cost or when pre-orders will open, but in the mean time, here's a list of all the included games:

    Contra III: The Alien Wars
    Donkey Kong Country
    EarthBound
    Final Fantasy III
    F-ZERO
    Kirby Super Star
    Kirby’s Dream Course
    The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
    Mega Man X
    Secret of Mana
    Star Fox

    Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting
    Super Castlevania IV
    Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts

        If Chrono Trigger was there it would be a great bundle but with Secret of Mana there I will have to pick one up and I hope it isn't a limited bullshit run like the NES version.

            Thanks for sharing this. In my opinion from my perspective if Nintendo would do more things like that or allow people to buy the ROMs digitally for a small price they would make more money doing that then getting mad at people for having let's just say other ways of playing games ha. I fully support Nintendo on this one I just wish they would do more things like this instead of whining and complaining about emulation retropie and all these other great projects contribute to it because it ain't going away baby ha!! ��

              The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition has been selling like hot cakes, with pre-orders getting snapped up fast, but now there is big catch, Amazon has retroactively changed all pre-orders down to 1 UNIT ONLY, and from now on its only 1 PER HOUSEHOLD policy!

              All Amazon Pre-Orders for SNES Mini have been changed to ONE UNIT ONLY PER HOUSEHOLD!
