Drink lattes out of avocado shells

Lattes served in the hollowed-out skin of an avocado are the latest trend to shock and appall the Internet.

An Australian cafe posted a video of its avocado latte on Instagram which shows a barista pouring hot milk into an avocado shell filled with black coffee.

After Melbourne’s Truman Cafe revealed coffee served in this unusual cup, many are eager to try the creation.

One Instagram user wrote: “I think a trip to Melbourne is in order”, while another said: “This is the best thing I’ve ever seen! Definitely going here.”

Others were not so impressed, calling the avocado latte “foul” and “gross”.

i hope they don't eat the shell.. so i would say it's so sick!

For the 1st time ever I had a plain avocado like 2 weeks ago. The inside has a bad plain taste like I was eating crisco lard or something, I'm not sure why anybody would want to willingly eat them as is.

It's a source of good fat. The texture takes time to get used to. Ripe ones have a buttery taste.
