Pens extracted from man's body after 36 years

May 10 (UPI) - Doctors in China said they surgically removed two ballpoint pens from a man who swallowed them more than three decades ago.

Surgeons at the hospital in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, said the man, surnamed Wang, told them he swallowed the pens as part of a lost bet when he was just 14 years old - 36 years ago.


Wang told the doctors he forgot about swallowing the writing implements until February, when they showed up on an X-ray during a body examination.

The pens were removed April 24th.

I'm sure he swallowed them with vast amounts of alcohol, thus why he forgot about them.

Literally the most bizarre thing I ever heard and I have heard a lot of stupidity people have done to themselves over the years. Though, Shoenice definitely tops this man.

Chinaman is trying to defeat Floridaman, but 2 pens isn't going to do it. I'm surprised it wasn't another weird sex thing. "Yeah, I bet somebody something years ago and lost and he banged me and shoved pens up my butt with pancake syrup and I forgot." would be more Floridaman competitive worthy.
