Deputies in Louisiana arrested Jared Dylan Smith after they say he yelled the profanity next to a 75 year old woman and quote, "clearly disturbed her peace."

The report doesn't have much details and says he denied even saying it. It sounds like an entire case without evidence, and nobody around him heard him yell it out. Weird article. It doesn't even say that the old lady was offended or anything. There's so little details I could just as well assume he said nothing, and cops just wanted to harass him for unknown reasons and found an excuse to do so.

Instead of going after innocent people, why don't they go after people who are developing Robots that are stealing our jobs, AI researchers, scientists who are engaging in cloning experiments, creators of biometrics technologies, and people are who are actually going to cause this world real problems in the not-so-distant future? It makes no fucking sense.

I'm not sure he's innocent, but that report has nothing more than him being arrested and no proof that anything happened. It didn't even say if the old lady who he supposedly committed the crime against even cared that he said it or if he even said it at all. That whole report is devoid of details, nobody could even verify he said it.

I'm all for robots taking jobs and AI researchers making the robots smart enough to take all of the jobs. If this world ever gets to a point where nobody's forced to take worthless jobs that don't need to exist and we can all sit back and relax, that'd be great and we can do our hobbies without giving a crap about needing to go outside and do a job we don't want. The only people worried about it are the ones fearing they'll lose their job and source of income causing chaos, but this world can be better without money and jobs. Have robots do all the work, have food delivered, and don't worry about money ever. That'd be great.

I read. Even if he did offend the old lady it still isn't warrant for an arrest. Not unless he gave her a heart attack and killed her, and even so, that is a grey area, but I'm sure they would find something to feed the prison complex.

Agreed as long as a universal basic income system is established. Technology has worked wonders and its time for everyone to benefit. Also, as long as things get out of control, creepy, scary and dangerous I'm fine with AI.
