  • This Binary Keyboard Is For ASCII Purists

    It's a binary keypad with only a 0 key, a 1 key, and an OLED display. All input is as a series of binary bytes, so as a hardcore binary typist you’ll need to know your ASCII.

    So judging by that GIF, it accepts bits from least to most significant, which would probably help the novelty wear off faster. It also handles 8-bit extended ASCII codes, which isn't exactly purist. What a failure.

      This thing looks cool, but has basically ZERO use (other than making the classic punishment "writing sentences" that much tougher on a wayward student).

      Just imagine having to type "I will not talk out of turn in class" 100 times with this thing! Sheesh...
      Tempus fugit, ergo, carpe diem.
