I don't miss CRT. Giant fuzzy-pictured-low-definition-2-ton-x-ray-blasting pieces of junk they were and probably the reason everybody born before the 2000's has glasses from watching fuzzy pictures while being blasted in the face with x-rays. I'm glad there's plasma and all of the other flat screen stuff.

While I miss CRTs, I have used one and was exposed to them for most of my life, and I would have to agree with bungholio. The reasons I don't like CRTs anymore is solely because of the X-ray emissions. I own an LED TV and it looks cleaner and not a pixelated, blurry mess that CRTs produce. Not to mention that CRTs are very energy inefficient and contain lead, cadmium so they're lso bad for the environment ten-fold. I'm sorry to say, but good riddance to the CRT television. They served their purpose and are no longer needed."Roll The Bones" - Rush
