This is a nice firefox plugin I found:

By default it makes the background completely black. This don't really work cause sometimes text or icons will be black so they won't show up. But I set the background to this color:
It works very well most of the time. You change the background or text color in the global preferences. If you click on the app icon you can also disable the app on certain pages. Should they already be dark. I found this app very pleasent on the eyes.
