N64 emulator on PS2?

why there is no Nintendo 64 emulator for PS2? all i know that modded PS2 let us play PS1, Sega Genesis, SNES, etc. but one missed is- N64

Dunno, but the Wii barely handles N64 emulation. I spose the PS2 isn't that much less powerful than a Wii. Still tho, no idea.

PS2 is only 1 generation later than the N64, and that's not a big gap. I strongly doubt anybody will ever see a decent N64 emulator on the PS2. PS2 uses MIPS and I think the N64 had PPC or something else, they use entirely different hardware with a different CPU, probably not an easy task.
