I may not be an American, but there used to be a Kmart in the capital city of my home province many years ago (according to what I noticed online, the Kmart stores here got replaced by Zellers stores, which in turn got replaced by Target stores until all the Target stores in Canada closed permanently due to bankruptcy). So yeah, I'm well aware of stores permanently closing their doors. It really sucks when a store (or even worse, a chain of stores, whether it's an entire chain or not) has to close its doors for good (unless there was something not right about the store, which I'm certain is virtually never a reason for a department store to close its doors for good).

I still frequent the local store near me form time to time. I remember when they had the Gamecube Kiosk and the demo disk which I now have. I also when my grandmother bought me Pac-Man for the Game Boy. I should have opted for SNES Tetris Attack instead but oh well it was too late when I got in the car.

GET READY FOR MUZAK! (The good kind. Not sure if this had subliminal messages playing behind it in store telling you to buy things though.)
