    The Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out in its first territory, Japan (where it was known as the Super Famicom), on November 21st, 1990. The classic console that sold 49.10 million boxes worldwide is 25 years old today.

    That thing was definitely awesome at the time. I wished it had online, but then game makers might be doing what they do now and go for 50% graphics, 50% online in any way possible and screw 2 players on the same console.

      SNES and genesis/megadrive did have modems for online for different purpose back then

        There was the X-Band which was online over-the-phone landline dial-up at a costly price. There is a an effort to restore the X-Band service nowadays. We had X-Band and I remember the good days of online gaming.

        So many fond memories of one of the greatest videogame consoles literally ever created with friends and my brothers.

        I would have made codes if I had not been busy with shit today. I guess all of my previous codes are a testament and make up for it I guess.

          X-Band sounds very familiar along with some DWANGO or whatever name involving online and Doom. I can't find any info that ties DWANGO and X-Band together for whatever reason, unless there was a 3rd thing in this mix that started with the letter X.
