Government study links cellphone radiation to cancer in rats

Seems like this study or ones like it have been done previously, think it was lab rats and cell phone radiation causing cancerous tumors. They also had a thing about "Some gibberish where this has no effect on full grown adults but is still hazardous to anyone under 18 or 13 because their immunity hasn't developed or whatever". I can't remember it any more, just a small detail where if you are an adult or teen you should be fine.

There have been a number of studies over the years, and I think most of them still fall on the "no effect" side. This one comes from a fairly credible source, though, so it's a bit more troubling than some of the others that just got thrown on the pile. Unfortunately, a lot of people hear "radiation" and immediately soil themselves, so there's a lot of junk science and outright rubbish floating around on the topic.

I remember seeing a video several years ago where they had a few cell phones pointed at some un-popped popcorn and the cell phones caused them to pop. LOTS of people believed it but turned out it was fake (no surprise there). The Code Hut: http://codehut.gshi.org/

Hell, my Facebook feed always has half-a-dozen or so people impressed with and sharing those Rick Lax videos where he says he's going to read your mind and then tells you to do something like, "Take your age. Add 5 if you're girl; add 4 if you're a boy. From that result, subtract your age. Double the result, and subtract 4 if you're a girl and 2 if you're a boy. I will now guess your number. It's 6. Oooo-weee-ooo-ooo." You don't even need to do research to confirm that's chicanery.

Hah! That numbers thing is old, like I've got an old "Ripley's Believe It Or Not!", like before the 1960's old, probably even before the 50's for all I know, and when I was in school it impressed me for a moment until my math teacher rolled her eyes at it, I learned quickly why she laughed.
