Would anybody here happen to play Black Ops 3 Nightmares mode with offline split screen coop? I'm wondering because the day I bought the game, not a single update out and it worked fine. Some time later when resuming the save it works fine with singleplayer but if split screen coop, then the game crashes. Update after update, no details beyond "security and stability improvements". I'm sitting at 1.08, same thing except now the crash is even worse. It finishes loading but once it gets to where it should render the screens it just stops and you're forced to try closing the game which crashes. I tried removing the disk and it wouldn't, had to wait about 15 seconds for the game to process the crash. Basically, there is no Nightmares offline coop for the PS4.
Is anybody else encountering this or read about it anywhere? Does this happen on other consoles? 8 updates and each one it doesn't work. It's making me think I'll never bother with another CoD again. I already told myself that, but this is a new level of BS. Every single aspect of the game works except Nightmares offline coop. At this point I've likely sent about 10 crash reports with descriptions.
The only fix is the frustrating process of restarting the level you are on from the beginning, and they can be some very long levels. I know EA has their own forums, but when I see problems there I never really see anything beyond "Yeah we're working on it" and years later eventually people give up or they direct you towards others and do the usual hush hush junk.
