GeMP Issues/RIM issues.

So for a long time I've been trying to play reasonably GBC games on my PSP, problem is that outside of Masterboy (which doesn't supports cheats afaik) both GEMP and RIM are unstable, or at least unstable in my PSP, I need to constantly erase the .cfg files because otherwhise the games crash, and either emulator might crash on exit (no longer as annoying thanks to infinity)

So is there any fix? if not what other options in terms of GBC emulation I have (cheats are mostly for Oracle of Ages, due to my hearing problems it's easier for me to find a meteorite in real life than to beat the Goron Dancing Minigame)?
