  • DICE can go to hell

I'm a casual gamer, a classic gamer. When I sit down to play a game, I want it to be fun, not too hard, with a story and a point.

So I spent $70 on the "deluxe" version of Battlefront last night. I went to sit down to play it today, and couldn't find the single-player campaign mode. Because there fucking isn't one. Evidently they don't think anybody plays it, they are fucking wrong.

I feel like EA came over to my house and took $70 out of my wallet, shit on my carpet, and flipped me off. I bought it digitally, so I can't return it. If they are going to sell half a game, they could charge half the price. And they, and Microsoft, could somehow indicate on the game page that it's multiplayer only. Because I wouldn't have bought this pile of shit, I would have bought a game with a point.
Please put all complaints in writing and submit them here.

More and more developers are joining this "screw the players, we just want their money" bandwagon. Games get released that are full of bugs, missing characters, game modes or in extreme cases don't work at all due to a control scheme that decides not to acknowledge the existence of a USB controller OR keyboard/mouse input.

This is because the video game industry, especially on the PC, is starting to lose sight of the real purpose behind making games: people buy them because they want to have fun playing them.
    Tempus fugit, ergo, carpe diem.

Time flies, therefore, seize the day.
