  • Grown Up Version Of Home Alone. And It's Terrifying

    By Anna Lewis

You know Home Alone? That’s a lovely Christmas film full of comfort and joy… comfort and joyyyyy, right?

WRONG! It’s a super-sad film about abandonment, neglect and sadness. Well that’s what the star of the film Macaulay Culkin seems to think anyway. In the first episode of web comedy series, RYVRS, the festive tale is reimagined as a sinister drama, with Mac reprising the lead role as an older, deranged version of Kevin.

Sorry to do this to you so close to Christmas...

Poor sucker, doesn't know how to do anything or want to besides acting and his career ended at 13 years old (or so I assume). It's sad really but move on and get a real job or get some education and get another career.

Not acting for several years. Great way to make an awkward transition into something you're not ready to take part.

He's been in stuff occasionally over the years, depending on if you count TV and movies that are for the most part seriously B-level, voice work and advertisements. Movie-wise, I think the biggest thing he's been in during the last decade or so was Saved! with Hillary Duff, Jena Malone, and Susan Sarandon's daughter. By all accounts, he's still got a few million in the bank, though, so as long as he doesn't blow it all on prescription drugs and pot, he can go on forming and dissolving bands, or whatever the hell it is he wants to do with his ample free-time.
