SNES9x emulator not working

I'm trying to get SNES9x working for Windows 10 and says d3dx9.dll is missing.


Any way to fix the problem?

Install DirectX, for a start, if you haven't already.

Does it matter where you put the files when prompted? I put them somewhere but when It installed I get the same error I was getting before.
