Ah. Well, you mentioned revisions and such; I was offering my help with things you chance to write. I hate deep analysis of old poetry...not only is dialect and colloquialism an issue, but sometimes people just go too far. Sometimes, they really meant exactly what they said...

Two year rule: If a male wishes to date a female, the male must be no more than two years older than the female. That's a correct wording, it's a load of bull. 36 pieces of scum is my description of my classmates, though it's more like 20% scum. What's the rule in America? Or is there nothing like a two year rule?

Legally, though it varies state by state, age of consent (for sex) is generally 17-18. As far as a general rule for dating...eh, people get away with pretty much anything. I'd say 2 years is a decent rule, though the older you get, the less it matters.

Oh, I forget to mention that the two year rule isn't a law, more of a moral code. The legal age is 17 or 15, I think it's at 17 but there was a debate about it. Though I live by my own code, screw it, if she's near sixteen I'm going for it.

All I care about is treating her right, sure "it's frowned upon" but I don't see the problem if she is 15. What's your(pl) on it? Mainly since American kids look older at younger ages, I'm just wondering.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, if you treat her with respect, and she consents to whatever happens. That, and 15's about as low as I'd go, if I were 17 or older...

Be careful, though...you don't have much ground to stand on if she suddenly goes crazy and tries to press charges to get back at you for something petty...which isn't too uncommon, at least here in the states.

Nah, she's still a kid and I wouldn't try anything, just a kiss. She's either 16 or a few months before 16, I remember around May when she told me that it gets frowned upon by her brother if she goes on a date with an 18 year old. One girl did go crazy, but she was only a few months younger, thank God I didn't sleep with her or else charges would of been pressed, heh. But I'm a gentleman, so I wouldn't try anything.
