It seems to me that the biggest problem with this feature is that it is turned on by default.

Windows 10 sends a weekly "activity update" on children's Internet browsing and computer history to parents, by default and without telling anyone. The feature could be dangerous as well as embarrassing, users have pointed out, allowing parents to watch everything their children do on the computer.

I got windows 10 and heard about all the privacy issues and went thru and shut off the unessesary stuff. i can't believe all the stuff that is enabled by default.

Child monitoring is an OPTION and has been around way before Windows 10. It sends an e-mail to the parents listing the top 5 sites their children visited, and is a wanted feature among parents that just want to make sure their kids aren't looking up porn or bomb-making.
