burned PS2 games and Codebreaker

will burned PS2 games (DVD-R or DVD+R) work with Codebreaker elf or iso if i soft mod my PS2 via Free McBoot?

You can get it too, yes, but it may take some doing. You'll need a modified CodeBreaker so it can run uLaunch or ESR off the memory card instead of running the game immediately.

a word of warning though,some games,such as sega genesis collection PS2,dont seem to work with the patched codebreaker+ESR.Dont know why though,the same codes work for an actual retail copy,but not the ESR backup.that is the only game i have had problems with however.
