is Codebreaker PS2 better than AR Max?

because when i use AR Max for my game, Ratchet & Clank Going Commando v1.1 and it frozen as Ratchet is on Planet Barlow. should i stop go to different planets again? but Endako is Clank's home planet

so should i use Codebreaker instead?
