I'm assuming this is for the PS2, as I think the game only came out for that and the Wii. All I can tell you is you have to get it into Advanced or Expert mode or whatever they called it to key in your own codes, so check the manual. The auto-detection only works if the game is already in the list, and if they provided a checksum in the master code.
When you say "MAX Memory", I think that's what they called their save manager, so you either have it in the wrong mode, or you bought the wrong device. Also, if you're dealing with any system newer than the PSP, the only AR available for them is a save manager.Last edited by Pyriel; 05-08-2015, 03:04:27 PM.

when i add a master code for PS2's Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, it said not a master code!
but Skiller has a master code-
http://gamehacking.org/?game=103580&...mat=arm&enc=on
EDIT: i know why because of zero amnd letter O
http://www.datelcustomerservice.com/...2#toggle-id-25
weird? think soAnswer:
The Action Replay Max uses an intelligent code system and will read the number zero and the letter 0 exactly the same way. There is no need to worry about which one you’re entering.
Other Errors while entering codes….
Common Error Messages:
Invalid Data
Code Already Exists
Code is for Another Game
Invalid Master Code
Can’t Enter Master Code
Invalid AR MAX Code
The Action Replay Max uses an intelligent code system and will know if the code is correct and will save the code accordingly. If you are getting an error message when entering in new codes then you are not entering the code in correctly.
If you believe the code being entered is correct, be the codes you’re using are identical to the ones found on www.codejunkies.com.
Only the official codes posted on CodeJunkies.com are supported by Datel; Unofficial codes may not function properly on your Action Replay.
Please Note: If you are using an ActionReplay Max, be sure that you are using AR MAX codes and not Action Replay v2 codes; these codes are not compatible.Last edited by Combusto Dragon; 05-08-2015, 09:36:18 PM.

You can not use the gamehacking database to automatic encrypt codes to "shitty AR MAX format"
If you already installed FMCB, you can use codebreaker or PS2rd.lee4 Does Not Accept Codes Requests !

I thought on their custom keyboard for entering codes, they dropped the characters that are invalid in them? AR MAX codes that are fully encrypted can't contain the letters L, O, or S, presumably to avoid the exact sort of confusion you experienced.
