Got rid of ALL my NES stuff

I made the tough choice to sell my HUGH collection of NES games, Game Genie, controllers, Nintendo Power Magazines (w/some rare early ones), etc. I could have easily sold it all for $500 ~ $600 on ebay, but sold it to a good friend for $120. He assured me he would put it to good use. I knew I made the right decision when he called me after he got home with it and said his kids are in love with it and have been playing non-stop. There are 3 new NES fans now. :-)

P.S. Him and his wife want to play, but will have to wait until the kids go to bed. lol.

meant no more Game Genie codes for your NES? it's ok however, i lose interest into Sega.

I hope you can still make nes codes. I know about giving friends the friend discount tho. I sold my 2ds for 40 dollars when I could have got at least 80 on ebay.

When i was at a Linux Conference i had a SNES emulator running on my linux test machine with a controller hooked up. It was amazing to see how many people would skip the Oculus Rift setups and take a quick play of Super Mario World.
