To submit codes, you may either post them in the appropriate code forum, or email myself at [email protected], or LiquidManZero (you can find his address under "Email Some Hackers" on the main site.

Heh, and on that note, I think I'll make an update in the next few days, if only to fix a few minor things and add some codes. I know I'm not technically running (or even adminning) the site anymore...but I still have some kind of special founder powers or something, heh.

Just to note, i've been doing some extensive updating to the site, and there are still pages that have a lot of inconsistencies. at the end of this month, my semester will be over, and i'm taking a 4 month break for the summer, so i'll have tons of time to make updates and stuff. about the email, i have gone in and changed mine, as well as one other, i think, so i have been updating info. also, the old gshi chat page is still available, and i've been fiddling with file names, since the links call lowercase files, which were initially capitalized (however that happened :roll: ). Oh, lastly, i have yet to see how shutting down chat has increased traffic flow to the message boards. specifically, i don't think all the "silent members" know we're now .org, not .net, so they can't find us. would be neat if we could do a mass email to all members.

Heh, is chat down? If it is...let's put it up, if we have the capabilities. I'll be around pretty much every day...two or three people later, we have a useful chat room. Hey Ron, mind e-mailing me the stats for the site again?

Oh, and, back in the old days, I used to just set out on the tedious journey of e-mailing everyone one by one, but if you like, I can mass e-mail everyone with a prog I grabbed a while back. Just gimme a list.

Chat is still up of course, though DS wants to make it "unofficial", as he thinks disbanding it will somehow make more ppl post here. i disagree, i still go there all the time and will maintain it, as there's no harm in it being there. and since you endorse it, i guess it stays official
and yes, of course i can email you all the info you need, for the site, the chat, even our section of the watnet ftp if need be (i was wondering whether we should have a link directly to it on the site). i'll also get you that list of users, as all i need to do is search the member files, which i have a program to do a mass email collection on

I'll see if i can get to all that tomorrow, i probably will though.

What're the server, port, and room?

I went there yesterday ('there' according to the info on the site), the room was empty, and didn't even look like it was registered.

If I submit enough codes, would I get a code page on your site?

the server is GSHI.NY.US.WatNet.Org, and the port is typically 6667 or 6668. the channel is #GSHI (though also drop by #WatNet, if you can and wish )

the channel you get to via the javachat and the links is the correct channel. we used to have a bot, and i'm looking into getting it back (i don't know why it left), since Lazy has named it to stay official. I'm there a lot, and am currently the owner of the channel, so drop by!

I called it unoffical because the rooms allways dead when I came in there(I was the only one in there..what happened to GSHIbot anyways ron?)..it doesn't matter now...I just wish more people would be in there while I was there..it gets boring in there without anyone else there..

SharkMe - If you submit even one code, you're in. It's always been like that. It was sort of one of the tenets GSHI was built on: Credit. Because even the humblest of hackers is just an arrogant bastard faking it, if even to himself (heh). But yeah, throw it to me, Ron, DS, or even Liquid (he might be a bit slower at acting on it, since as of late he hasn't had much access to the net, I believe).

I remember back in the day, of hacking OPM demo discs.. without a GSPro or anything, hacking my very first code through just guessing the digits. sigh..

Well, net access isn't the problem, the problem is called 'pain-in-the-ass-firewall', but that can't stop me from doing the html and uploading it somewhere ELSE. In fact, I'm going to do just that.
