There are VGM format rips of the actual music from the genesis games here: http://www.project2612.org . There's almost no difference in sound between the rips and what you'd hear on a real genesis in the same game.

I guess from those you can just open up sound recorder which I think comes standard with windows. At least it did with my computer (XP). Then after you record the wav's you can convert them to MP3's using Music match, or download goldwave, which is free. If I come upon a site with the mp3 format tho I'll let you know.

I'm not certain but I think the vgm files require a specific player that emulates the sound processors. Most of them should have some way to output mp3/wav files.

Ummm...well winamp, with those plug in's plays all those files, IF tyhose gen files and such are what you are talking about....not sure you are but those are small in space and very good, converting takes some doing, but it is possible by far.

Otherwise, IF you still want and seek MP3 music of Sonic games, I can help you, I am pressed for time right now, it is party movie night, Tuesday new DVDs and games and such, so going to get to that really fast, but that Galbania Hotel site which has most game music lists all in MP3 would be yout dream...again if you want it, again am pressed for time but if you wish the url/link I can get it.

Yes that is it, sorry but I have been enjoying vacation and the summer for a good while, to check around here for all the leaks and holes in the ship.

But hell, hehe seems that was amde a while back anyway, so sense LMZ told you back then eh well dead issue all the way around anyway now ^_^
