  • What do you pay for internet speeds, who do you have?

I'm with vyvebb paying about $60 a month for 25-30MB cable internet. They bought out some other company we were with half a year ago called allegiance.

I don't know how much we pay, but we only get 5 MB download speeds. Not that great but it's way better than dialup.

My neighborhood finally has fiber, I'm going to switch to a Cable TV + Phone + Internet 20mbps/5mbps combo for pretty much the same price I'm paying right now for my measly 3mbps DSL connection: around the equivalent of $50 dollars.

We're in luck because the newest oceanic cable that will connect the USA with the entirely of Latin America, first passes through us. So basically we'll theoretically get the better speeds at the lowest price.

Pay around $75 after taxes and their Modem lease, I bought my own so will be saving a few bucks. It's 20-25mbs Comcast (I can't wait till we have Fiber here).

Wow, why are your contracts so expensive?
And I thought our contract was expensive...
Well here it's just 30€ (≈34$) a month for 25mbit downstream and 5mbit upstream + telephone and free internet Router (which kinda sucks) by Deutsche Telekom.

When you don't have their phone and TV then it's pricier, I got rid of the cable TV and got Direct TV for alot cheaper. If you bundle it's not bad but when you go ala cart then you pay more and we don't have Fiber in my city so there is no competition and they can jack prices.
