    Re: DeviantArt

Only the store admin can upload the images into the media basket, but I guess I could always just fwd them to LazyB via email.

Though I'm more of an abstract artist, I'd like to try out PhotoShop or Poser someday.

I currently only have/use Ultimate FX, Photo Impression (used to have Ulead but it just up an quit working), and the Fractal Mapper trial.

      Re: DeviantArt

You might want to check this program out: http://gimp.org/windows/
It's not quite as good as photoshop, but it's both alot smaller and free. That, and it'll run on most anything.

Here's a few recent additions, plus a design for the black baseball cap.

        Possible GSHI black cap design?

Hmm... As far as the GSHI logo, I hate to say it, but it looks a bit too much of the same style as a certain local band I know of's logo for my tastes. Mostly, it's that it's a textured oval bg with large dropshadowed text... Err, maybe that's too general of a description. Myself, I think I would've done some sort of fade out to black around the edges of the oval at least... But that's just me.

The other three, cool, especialy 'Mecha'. Looks similar to some fractals I've seen, but doesn't look like it's actually a fractal.

Yeah, I thought the hat design looked a lil' too plain too, I made it in Pixia. Thats why I added it to my scraps rather than uploadingit to my gallery. Still learning with Pixia which is a Paint program. Though so far in all the free programs only UFX can tie with Ulead, just wish I could figure out why my ulead photo express 3.0 program quit working.

              Re: DeviantArt

Anyways, the design for hats needs to be 900x500.

A good size for T-Shirts is either 2400x2400 or 2100x2100. You can use 1000x1000 but the image wont be very large if you decide to use it on the chest/back. The reccamened size for the Pocket is 600x600.

You know, I think I'll make an abstract and use that, just not sure what on. I do have 3 paintings I still need to scan.

Ah. This might sound obvious, but did you ever try reinstalling photo express after it stopped working?

                  yep.

I uninstlled it, the re-installed it and the error keeps popping-up.
When I try to open ulead.exe I get an error that says there was a roblem in the defaults or something, I have what the msg says written down somewhere.

But damn, it was just a wonderfu program.

Hmm... Sounds like a rather messy uninstall, or something weird...

                        Cannot open Ipe.exe

IPE30 caused an invalid page fault in
                        module MFC42.DLL at 0167:5f46bb03.

Then it goes on to list a bunch of hexidecimals. First the Registers, then the Stack dumps.

I'm not sure what exactly ipe.exe is, but it's either having problems with the version of mfc42.dll you've got, and/or ulead's having problems with the version of ipe.exe you've got... If ipe.exe is not part of something that installs with ulead, it might work to uninstall whatever it is, install ulead, and then reinstall wherever ipe came from. But, I'm just guessing, as I don't know a whole lot about that specific software.

What I had was a disc that came with a digital camera that was won in a contest, the camera was worthless but the program was sweet. It's the only one I've seen so far that'll let me add text effects like 3D, Carved text, Flames, Snow, Faded ect. Plus the selection tools were really great.

I'm wondering if I DL'ed a patch, if that might work?

If there is a patch, that might work. I just had the idea that maybe ipe.exe isn't a needed part of the software, and could be removed and let ulead work fine. It seems that maybe ipe.exe is a plugin/driver that is buggy.

In this reply I stated it was ulead.exe, it's actually Ipe.exe

Which is the thing you click on in order to start up the program.
