Those're pretty damn good; definitely keep makin'em. When I get this thing on the road, you should help with image design, dude. And on that note, I'm getting really pissed off at having to wait...we should really set up some kind of paypal 'net store for retail stuff of high 0wnage value, at least to tide the GSHI's undeniable thirst for world domination over.
Heh, you know, that makes perfect sense. And, I'd completely agree about having more people doing image design. The way I see it, the more, the better, as just one or two people would be unlikely to come up with nearly the things that a larger number would...
I've heard some pretty bad things about cafepress... Not limited to them making low quality stuff... I don't know if it was true, but I've seen mentions of that sort in enough different places I'm inlcined to believe it is true.
I've designed two things on CafePress and bought them at base price. They were X-Mas gifts. One was a custom designed T-Shirt for my brother he has a small Die-Cast business called Foreveryoung Racing, so I put a blue flame with the title on there, the shirt was as good as any other store bought shirt I've seen.
The other was a Teddy bear with just a personal note I put on its chest, it was pretty good quality.
Now they do have two Store Versions Free and Pay-For.
In Free you can only use 1 type of item per store, like the Black Baseball Cap you can only use 1 per store, you also cannot customize the store with css/html.
But that doesnt bother me.
on Pay-For you can use unlimited types per store, like the Black Cap.. if you wanted you could have a store hat onl has those. You can also customize it with css/html.
They do tend to offer a wide selection of items, from shirts to panties, from designing & publishing you own books to releasing your own software.
Everything starts at a base price, so to make a profiet you need to raise the price a few dollars, The Admin of the store can buy items at base price.
I thought I'd mention 2 things. On my store I have 18 out of a toltal of 63 products listed.
And DeviantArt also uses CafePress to sell Prints/Posters.
Well guess this is actually 3 things, on a graphics req. board we set up a store and one of the admins put some hi-quality pics on a t-shirt and mousepad, he then ordered them, from the pics he took they looked like they came out pretty well.
