I got a new game for my Jaguar this weekend, NBA Jam TE. I already have this game on SNES, Genesis, 32x, and on my MAME arcade, but I have to say that the Jaguar version is my favorite. It looks and plays beautifully, and the controller is comfortable with the button layout. Wolfenstein 3D also looks and plays beautifully on the Jaguar. Alien Vs. Predator, Zool 2, and Troy Aikman Football are other favorites of mine.
I know the Jaguar gets a lot of grief, but I think that is more to do with poor marketing. I believe it should have been marketed as a 32-bit system. I mean, technically, 2 32-bit buses don't necessarily make a 64-bit system. But considering the Jaguar release date, it could have worked being called a 32-bit system, instead of trying to jump so far ahead.
There were a lot more games advertised for the system than were actually released. The Jaguar didn't last as long as it should have. I believe it had great potential if the support was there.
