Howdy QJ readers, and happy Saturday. As you may have noticed, the last news post on the site was published August 14 -- just over a month ago. I checked through (and published) everyone's comments and have to say that all the folks who worked hard on making QJ a fun place to discuss games are absolutely honored to see such positive sentiments coming from so many of you. We've enjoyed working here just as much as you've enjoyed reading the goofy stuff we post.
Anyway, to the point: Some of you have asked if QJ is done. The answer, unfortunately, is that we have no idea. About two months ago complications began with the site's owners (a personal matter that I'm not going to discuss), and communication effectively ceased. Payments also ended up extremely delayed or, in some cases, not sent at all; the writers, web team, and other employees have all had to pause until this stuff can get fixed. This is not limited to QJ and is impacting all sites under this particular company's umbrella.
We are hopeful that once things calm down the schedule will resume as before and everything will get straightened out, but as the silence deepens that hope fades. QJ might continue or it might not. It might get reinvented with new writers and a new approach/design or it might just fall off the Internet. There's no telling at the moment.
Whatever happens, I didn't want to leave you all hanging. So if this does turn out to be a farewell, thanks again from all of us for your support over the years. Should anything change you'll be the first to know.

P.S. I'll be looking back periodically to approve comments on this post. Say whatever you feel like saying and I'll do what I can to answer questions, but know that there's no anger or malice happening anywhere in this whole situation. Vitriol will be deleted.
