Square Enix will today launch a 14 day free trial for the PC version of subscription-based massively multiplayer online game Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn.
The trial version, which goes live at 6pm UK time this evening and is available to download from www.ffxiv-freetrial.com (it's not live yet), lets you get up to level 20, but there are some limitations on in-game activities. More details on these limitations will be revealed at 6pm.
What you do get, though, is the content added by the recently released Defenders of Eorzea. This includes Frontline, the three-faction player versus player experience. There's Chocobo Raising, too. With this you can train your Chocobo.
Unfortunately the free trial is not available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, the publisher confirmed to Eurogamer.
