gamescom 2014 News - Playstation (Vita) TV launches in October 14
Sony will launch the PlayStation TV, its micro-console for PlayStation games, on Oct. 14 in North America and Europe on November 14, the company announced today during its Gamescom 2014 press briefing.
PlayStation TV can serve as a secondary console for PlayStation 4 games via Remote Play, and users can also play many PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Portable and PSOne titles on the console. The device will also offer PlayStation Now, Sony's game-streaming service. It will be available by itself for $99, and in a $139 bundle along with a DualShock 3 controller, an HDMI cable, an 8 GB memory card and a copy of Lego The Movie Videogame on PS Vita.
