Sony announced a brand new PS4 bundle in white!
Sony has been promoting Destiny like crazy recently and the E3 press conference was no exception. Bungie has struck up an exclusivity deal with Sony for some in-game and physical content. Sony opened their E3 press conference up with a brand new trailer to show off the new game from Bungie, the creators of Halo. Bungie no longer works on the Halo franchise and Destiny is their new IP.
Sony followed up the action packed trailer for an announcement of a brand new glacier white PS4 bundle that will launch along side the game September 9th, 2014. The bundle will include a 500GB white PS4 console, vertical stand, white DualShock 4 and a 30-day trial for Playstation Plus. The console bundle will launch at a competitive $449 price point for both the US and Canada. Also announced are brand new colors for the DS4 which you can preview below. Amazon is taking preorders on the controllers and PS4 bundle starting today.
If you’re eager to play Destiny or just want to see how it plays (like Halo) then you’re in luck. There is a way to play the game this week. All you have to do is sign up for the closed alpha here for a chance to get selected. The alpha will be released June 12th and end on the 15th for those lucky enough to get in. The Alpha will last all weekend but you only have until June 11th to register. If you don’t happen to get in don’t worry; the beta will launch on PS4 first, July 17th. You can get into the beta numerous ways with one of those having preordered the game.
