  • VIRUS!

When I booted up this site today, I was inundated with ahost of banners, for Codec player, web forgery, etc. This carried over into booting up Yahoo articles. I removed it with Malwarebytes, but it came back when I booted up this site again. I mean, like, I simply booted it up & didn't do another thing, and the bullshit returned. Could you have possibly been invaded by a virus?

Phil, I just logged on to the site, and didn't have any problems. I'm using Firefox w/Win 7 64 bit.

Yeah, I pay $200 a year for "Advanced tech Support". They fix any software probs I can't fix myself. They once used Combofix. If I pick up many malware, I do things in this order:

1.) Scan with Malwarebytes, max Spyware detector, and AVG, in that order.

2.) If no go, I reset Firefox.

This was the first time I had any bullshit on just one site. I didn't find the name of the malware, but it's now gone & that's all that matters.

3.) If still no go, I call Advanced Tech Support.
