If they used dedicated servers more, things wouldn't have been getting ruined last gen. Although, everyone lag switches, pulls host, hacks accounts, and has ways to boot people offline regardless of being able to hack specific games or not. I've been booted offline by someone a couple times, and I think my modem might've gotten hacked once. Can't find any other reason it would lock up and factory default for no reason. Plus the assholes that make the games give no option to avoid being matched with goddamn laggy mexicans, so you end up lagging no matter what half the time.

Moreover, I hope XB1 gets hacked and modded fast. If MS won't come off the forced Kinect, then I definitely want to pirate XB1 exclusives and buy multiplats on PS4 this generation.

Another thing to consider. With the multi-tasking abilities of these new consoles and the fact they're x86, homebrew cheat software should definitely happen, much like Wii.

I was told the same. People have been saying that when it happens, porting pc software will be much easier than it was for the PS2 and PS3 since it's x86. I would love for something like cheat engine being ported.
