  • GameHacking.org and Zophar.net are now official affiliates

The center of the video game hacking scene and the long-time emulation giant have teamed up to strengthen ties between the two related scenes, and improve both the ability for hackers to utilize emulation, and for emulation users to use and create cheats.

As a first step, I'm currently updating parts of Zophar related to mobile emulation (Android, iOS, etc), and will subsequently fill in hacking-related emulation tools and emulators with built-in hacking systems, where those are not already covered. This general initiative ties in nicely with the work-in-progress new site layout at GameHacking.org, which will be unveiled upon completion.

Update: Apparently Rune of GSC didn't like this news, and dropped by Zophar.net to attack the character of myself and GameHacking.org (as well as most of the classic staff of GSC, CMP, KW, and others). Check the hilarious thread out HERE.

Wow, looks like Rune has decided to drop by Zophar.net to insult us and give Zophar as bad an impression as possible. Rune is quite a slimy fellow, isn't he? But then again, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by things like that from a guy who lied about grabbing codes from our database, didn't give proper credit for them, got called on it by ugetab and so counter-accused him of being the code thief, was proven wrong so harshly that his own admin staff left and joined us as well as creating a new site (KodeWerx), spammed all discussion once he was unveiled as the prick he is, then laughed and made insulting comments to ugetab's mother when ugetab unexpectedly DIED (IN REAL LIFE) of a brain hemorrhage.

Drop by the thread and take a look: http://www.zophar.net/forums/showthread.php?p=104235

Looks like telling the truth really scares the bejesus out of Lazy Bastard. It makes me wonder how he survives in real-life.

Honestly, Rune...I thought you were ready to behave, be honest, and not be such a low-life. You'd certainly been acting less trolly than usual, until today. Don't get me wrong; I'll never forgive you for your treatment of ugetab's death. However, I was hoping you'd at least be less of an annoyance than in days gone by.

Sorry LB, I refuse to distort history with you and let you get away with it. I'm too honest a person to do that.

Guess some people never change and never will. At least I can sleep at the end of the day knowing I am telling the truth all of the time.

              An interesting take on things

OK, please stop posting in this thread. It wasn't created as an argument pit for you and I.

I have always had the impression that believing and feeling the need to state you are telling the truth absolutely all of the time is a psychological delusion. But enough of that.

It's good to see Zophar's Domain getting stirred up again. They've been rather inert for too long.

Well, that was an interesting read, but one of the things that didn't seem to make sense was this:

If I'm not mistaken, most of the codes and videos that are currently added to GSC's Forum and YouTube Channel are codes produced by hackers at GameHacking.org, so why would it be an enormous mistake to go to the place where those codes originated from? In all honesty, I stopped posting on GSC because 1) I was lazy, and 2) it didn't seem to matter whether or not I posted my codes since they were being added to GSC's Database or uploaded to YouTube straight from my code thread(s) on GameHacking.org.

I make videos from everywhere. Some codes were posted on YouTube a while back but had no visuals so I made codes of those so people can see those codes in action. Those hacks and some of the most recent ones have come from here but then again, all of the Super Mario World ones were mostly from the original GSCentral material. If I feel like doing a video on a code, I don't discriminate against the individual code creator.

People can choose to go wherever they wish, just don't try and re-write history into something that never happened.

The question is.... why zophar? I mean... I guess that's the only one left out of all the big emu news websites... but... it's not like they have anything that people can't easily find already. Don't get me wrong, they have a huge archive of (old) saves, music, etc., but in what way does that benefit Gamehacking? And is the current owner an asshole like Swamgas was?

Jesus Christ! Let this shit go for gods sake. It seems like Rune is always trying to start shit because other good and reputable sites want to affiliate with us and not with him.. well that's tough shit for you but you want to cry about it and make a giant thread about the same story over and over again. Here is an idea how about you make a dedicated web page and write your side of the story and just link it there because I as well as just about everyone are sick of seeing the same shit posted numerous times.

On a side note I'm thrilled to have zophar an affiliate as I used to frequent their site for years.

Sup Rune, I heard you like codes so I put some codes in my codes so you can put coded codes in your database of codes.

I don't really have an opinion one way or the other on affiliating with Zophar. Other than the fact that it reminded me of...

In response to this news, GSCentral.org announces its affiliation with Don't Date Him Girl. The union of these two sites will be the definitive resource for disreputable code databases and lunatic, estrogen-fueled vendettas. As soon as they can figure out which site is providing each part, they'll start surpassing all your needs and wants retroactively to 2007. Excelsior!

Thanks for the pro-tip there Pyriel, but since I'm engaged, perhaps you need this far more than I do?
