GSHI (which has recently been renamed GameHacking.org, but is still the same site), was created in July, 1999.

Umm, but weren't you all still GSCentral back then?

                      Here's to another 13...

Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Somewhere under the brick & steel of a nondescript building. We've once again made contact w/ our leader, OSG

Nope. LB was never at GSCentral and neither were a lot of the people here. Only person who, in my opinion, is still somewhat coherent and not 100% biased in favour of Parasyte from 1999-2000 would be Viper187, who is semi-retired.

Jim Reinhart founded GSCentral in January 1998 and within two weeks he was busy with other things so I helped guide the website from then onwards. I have always given him the opportunity to help but he isn't interested in the scene and has many times given us his blessing. He and I currently keep tabs on Facebook. Michael, who helped with the administrative duties to various degrees over the years, has gone missing.

So.... what is the beef with this site and GSCentral if they both come from separate places?

You know what? Forget about it, I don't want to start a flame war.

That, and I think we've gone over that topic about five times in other threads. Just search for "GSCentral" on the forums here (or on GSCentral's forums, I'd imagine).

Different goals amongst other specifics I won't mention. If you want to see my interpretation or LB's of events past and present then just read those threads. If you want my point of view personally, I'll gladly explain it over PM or IRC, etc. There is always more than one perspective on history.
